- Westmont's 1st Annual Yard Sale to benefit our Jason K. Jacobs Scholarship
The WMS will be hosting its First Annual 'Yard Sale' to benefit the Jason K. Jacobs Scholarship on Saturday, June 26, 2010 (rain date June 27, 2010), 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM. The scholarship, established in 2004, offers families in financial need an opportunity to experience a Westmont pre-school education. Donations provided by WMS families. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED.
100% of the proceeds will benefit the scholarship fund.
- Developing Capable Young People – A 10-Week course for parents and educators will begin its 20th year at The Westmont Montessori School. Led by retired Head of School, Enid Lattner, the course will cover a broad range of critical topics including how to reduce family conflicts, communicate openly and honestly, build confidence and competence, and encourage children to be responsible for their actions. Please check our website in August for a brochure and registration form.
