Zoe Jacobs, Westmont alumna and daughter of the late Jason K. Jacobs
When Jason K. Jacobs died in the September 11th terrorist attacks, he and his wife,
Jennifer, were in the beginning stages of selecting a pre-school for their daughter,
Zoe to attend the following year.
Soon after her husband's death, Jennifer Jacobs decided that a scholarship fund
to help children would be a fitting memorial. A scholarship was established in his
name as a way of offering Early Childhood education to children who could not
otherwise afford it.
